Bill and I both shared wonderful careers at Ivan Allen Company. I truly remember how engaged he was in any and everything in which he participated! This was obviously true throughout his life.

Bill's memory will live on in the hearts of all the residents at the many nursing homes he visited and the children he helped to learn to enjoy reading. We at Coastal Therapy Dogs will miss him as well, we could always depend on him to keep me on track. I know he will rest easy knowing you have Tramp to keep you company. We are all here for you during this most difficult time and keeping you in our prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Margaret. I was fortunate to have known Bill through the Savannah Striders and Blessed Sacrament. He always made me smile when I had the pleasure of talking with him. How wonderful that he touched the lives of so many people in positives ways.

Wild Bill was the first person I met on the first night I attended a Civil War Roundtable way back at least 10 or 12 years ago. His enthusiasm and devotion to his pet causes was only one of many outstanding characteristics Bill possessed. He always kept me guessing which Bill he may have been on any given occasion. His dedication as a volunteer and especially his dilligence as Tour Director for the Bonaventure Historical Society were unquestionable. He got our tour programs off to a wonderful start. I find it significant and think Bill would approve that BHS will be doing the Tour of Homes on the date and almost at the same time as the funeral mass. I will always smile when I remember Bill.
